I trained as an economist rather than as a data scientist or a statistician or, indeed, as a journalist but I'm a communicator.

I generally would go for something like “nerd storyteller.” I don't know if that's the best description. You're a writer, a journalist, a broadcaster, an economist, a podcaster. It's great to see you again and I'd love to spend as much about this podcast talking about you and how you do your work as we do the work itself, because I think you do the style of work that many of our audience members aspire to do, which is to unearth really interesting insights and then to present them out in a way that captivates people's imaginations.
